On Friday, I took Sebastian to speech therapy, and after repeating a series of words, Linda, the therapist, asked him to say the word ‘but’, so he repeated it about three times, and then Linda said, “Okay Sebastian, now say the word “again”", to which Sebastian replied “but”. Linda and I chuckled a little, then she said “Sebastian, can you say the word “again”? And of course Sebastian said “but”. We were both laughing, and poor Sebastian had no idea what was going on, so I said, “I don’t think she wants you to say the word “but”, I think she wants you to say the word “again”, then he looked at both of us with a somewhat confused look on his face and hesitatingly said “but”. We were laughing so hard! After that, we reassured him that he was doing well, and we moved on to other words. Too funny.

Speaking of Sebastian-isms:
- “We got it because I’ve been wanting it for 10 years!” – on getting his new Lego street sweeper this past weekend
- “How much should I tip?” – his query upon “signing” our charge slip for AM’s early birthday dinner last week. After I told him “12. One & then a two” he proceeded to write, with no help from either of us, a very fine “12″ with his crayon.
