Some new phrases from our budding linguist:
- Yesternight.Sebastian used this when talking to AM last week about the previous night (“Remember when daddy did something funny yesternight?”) You can’t argue with the logic and I think it should be added to our lexicon.
- “…you know.” He’s been using this phrase a lot lately, tacking it onto the end of his statements: “There are a lot of marbles in there you know.”
- At breakfast yesterday Sebastian & I were sitting at the dining table and he saw his Chutes & Ladders game and asked if I’d like to play after we finished eating. “Do you prefer it?” he asked. “Prefer it to what?” I countered. “Do you prefer to play it?” I didn’t press the point further but was quite amused with his comment. He won, by the way.
More to come I’m sure – he’s picking up more & more each day!
