Sebastian,
You really scared me with your story. Did you write it for Halloween? You sure are a great story writer, and wonderful story teller! Thanks for sharing it with us.
We miss you, so it’s extra nice to see you on video.
We love you very much!

This was wonderful! Just one question: have you switched to reading “Beowulf” to your son at bedtime? The similarities in storyline are pretty remarkable, if I recall my high school English Lit 101 correctly…not that I’m implying plagiarism, mind you, merely inspiration. Tell Sebastian that it was the perfect creepy tale for Halloween!

I can’t stop watching this. I alternate between the terrible monster story and the secret spot video. Musta watched them 8 or 9 times today. Sebastian is, indeed, a gifted story teller and guide!

Wow! Fantastic description (dark, spooky, creepy…), excellent narrative pace, inflection… Sebastian, that was great. Aunt Jenn and I both enjoyed the “40,330 people” detail, and the sound of the marker was strangely enjoyable too.
Tell Grandma that she is referring to Grendel’s raid of Hrothgar, and that the climax of said scene is entirely different, as Grendel loses an arm.
I really enjoy seeing the videos (we miss you all, too).
