A night out…

Last night they had a free event at the Japanese American Cultural Community Center (JACCC) in Little Tokyo and they showed the pilot episodes for Astro Boy (1963) and Gigantor (1964). The also showed the original Japanese version of Voltron, but decided to have a DJ create a live soundtrack, so it was a little disappointing. Still, we had a great time and enjoyed some veggie hot dogs from a cart, some ice cream from a truck, and some good anime from Japan. Woo hoo!

    Oh, that boy. I just can’t get enough. Thanks for so many updates! And I think Little Tokyo is still my favorite spot in LA. What a great event!
